Gifric (Groupe interdisciplinaire freudien de recherche et d'intervention clinique et culturelle) have 6-year long annual one week seminar (usually in June) in English. Once the six year cycle has been completed, the practitioner (or academic, as the case may be) has access to their clinical cases seminar, during the same week, and sharing some lectures with the training seminar. In addition to the week long events in Quebec, there are usually clinical days in Chicago, San Francisco, Boston or Puerto Rico, where members who form "circles" of Grifric live and work. A publication associated with Gifric is "(a) the Journal of Culture and the Unconscious".
And the local branches of gifric often have reading groups and other activities.
